About this School Project (Egyptian Printmaking)
• Today I will learn about ANCIENT EGYPTIAN ART, so that I CAN create my own EGYPTIAN CAT or BENNU HERON print inspired by the art created by the ancient Egyptians.
• Today I will learn about LINE, so that I CAN draw the CONTOUR LINE of a CAT or BENNU HERON and TRACE my lines so that they are ETCHED into my SCRATCH FOAM BOARD.
• Today I will learn about PRINTMAKING, so that I CAN create my own PRINT by ETCHING my drawing into SCRATCH FOAM BOARD, rolling it with BLOCK PRINTING INK and then pressing it onto my paper to transfer my image.
