About this School Project (Matisse Cut Outs)
Kindergarten were introduced to the artist Henri Matisse - they "drew with scissors" just like the artist to create these cutouts.
First grade are revisiting Matisse - they also made cut outs but focused on organic shapes and remembering to overlap shapes and put shapes inside shapes.
