Artist Statement (what Kiara2830 said about their artwork)
Collagraphy is a type of print making. I made this by gluing pieces of cardboard and paper onto a piece of cardboard. Then I rolled ink on the cardboard with a brayer and put the cardboard on paper and smoothed it with a baren. My favorite part was rolling ink on the cardboard. My challenges were trying to figure out what I was going to do for the printmaking.
About this School Project (Collagraph Prints)
During WIN time students studied printmaking before creating this collagraph prints. They built up a surface of cardboard, paper, tape and tissue to create their printmaking block. Then they printed two copies of their image. This was a lot of experimenting but it was fun to see the results.
