About this School Project (Shapes, Lines & Patterns, oh my!)
The students are working on building their cutting and gluing skills. We are also learning about shapes, lines, and patterns. On the first day in the project, the students needed to cut out shapes and glue them to a piece of black paper. They could glue any shapes they wanted, geometric or organic, but they were asked to fill their page and leave some black space between their shapes. The second day, we used a silver marker to draw lines around all of their shapes, filling the black paper. The third day, we colored the shapes with neon oil pastels and decorated the shapes with patterns.
Los estudiantes están trabajando en la construcción de sus habilidades de corte y pegado. También estamos aprendiendo sobre formas, líneas y patrones. En el primer día del proyecto, los estudiantes necesitaban recortar formas y pegarlas en un papel negro. Podían pegar cualquier forma que quisieran, geométrica u orgánica, pero se les pidió que llenaran su página y dejaran un espacio negro entre sus formas.
