About this School Project (Process Art: General)
Our art room set up is designed to emphasize process over product. Taken from MaryAnn Kohl's book, Preschool Art, "Young children 'do' art for the experience, the exploration, the experimentation. In the 'process' they discover mystery, creativity, joy, frustration. The resulting masterpiece is only a result to the young child, not the reason for doing art in the first place." The works displayed here are a general accumulation of process art.
