About this School Project (Mixed-up Chameleon - 1st grade)
We read the Mixed Up Chameleon by Eric Carle. Afterward we discussed what happened in the book and the meaning behind it. The students were then put in charge with writing 4 different animals on the back of their paper. For their drawing, they had to create one animal using parts from the 4 animals they wrote on the back of their paper. Last, they had to create a background and color.
