About this School Project (3rd Grade Original Character Diagram (Mrs. Jackson))
Our learning objectives for this work is to know the history of storytelling and to create work that is personally satisfying. We looked at a number of videos and information from the artists at Pixar on ways to create an engaging original character. We brainstormed a list of characteristics and traits our characters could have. Students then created a number of different sketches and narrowed it down to one or drew an entirely new character on large paper. Traced drawing with marker and then added labels to diagram important features of our original character.
