I like my picture because of the color and the feeling and I hope you like my picture too.
About this School Project (Second Grade: Animal Portraits)
Students talked about how artists show emphasis (a principle of design) in the their artwork by making the subject large and stand out. They can use dark and light colors as well as other methods to show emphasis in their artwork. They did observation drawings of an animal of their choice and then carefully painted by mixing their own colors.
