About this School Project (Monochromatic Self Portrait)
During the first week of art, every student in the school drew a self-portrait. These were done on 6x6 inch white paper. The students were asked to draw themselves so that their drawing FILLED the paper. They needed to create an interesting background. However, their work needed to be monochromatic (using only one color). Each grade level was assigned a different color: Kindergarten/Red, 1st Grade/Orange, 2nd Grade/Yellow, 3rd Grade/Green, 4th Grade/Blue, 5th Grade/Purple, and 6th Grade/Pink.
Durante la primera semana de arte, todos los estudiantes de la escuela hicieron un autorretrato. Estos se realizaron en papel blanco de 6x6 pulgadas. Se les pidió a los estudiantes que dibujaran ellos mismos para que su dibujo LLENE el papel. Necesitaban crear un fondo interesante. Sin embargo, su trabajo debía ser monocromático (utilizando solo un color). A cada nivel de grado se le asignó un color diferente: Kindergarten / Rojo, 1er Grado / Naranja, 2do Grado / Amarillo, 3er Grado / Verde, 4to Grado / Azul, 5to Grado / Púrpura y 6to Grado / Rosa.
