About this School Project (Kindergarten Number Trains)
Kindergarten students used pencils, sharpies, watercolor paint, paper snips, glue, and crayons to create these number trains. It's a process for them. Students chose their own number for their engine if they wanted one. We talked about one, two, and three digit numbers to connect art with math.
We read lots of train books in class including Down by the Station, Freight Train and Engine, Engine #9.
This project is a big hit among Kindergarten train enthusiasts.
