About this School Project (1-2 Kandinsky Abstract)
Wassily Kandinsky was most famous for his influence on the Abstract Art movement. To continue our study of color, lines and shapes, we looked at Kandinsky's artwork called, Composition 8. We picked out 3 crayons and used them to trace common shapes and draw lines anywhere on the paper. Students learned about using more or less pressure when coloring to make the color lighter or darker (value).
