About this School Project (Seashells)
Students learned about and were able to define contour lines. They created contour drawings of seashells. Focus was on the outline of the seashell form and then details were added by a variety of different lines ex: curving, broken, zigzag etc. Students added a background watercolor wash using cool colors to imitate water. Salt was added for an additional effect.
