Students show their expertise with clay sculpture using coils. Their coils should be pencil size around and smooth as possible without lumps and bumps. Their beautiful coil-making skills should be evident in their fun sculptures of "Betty and Eddie Spaghetti", Snail Families, and SNAKES, which do not hide their beautiful work by smearing and welding the coils together-EXCEPT when connecting them to form the people images.
