Artist Statement (what Aidan12739 said about their artwork)
I learned that the proportions of the face are five eyes fit across the face, the nose is halfway down the face and the mouth is halfway between the nose and the chin. I also learned that the ears are as long as the distance from the bottom of the nose to the top of the eyes.
About this School Project (Celebrity Portrait)
As one part of our portrait unit this fall, our artists transferred half of a celebrity's portrait to practice shading on the face. Can you tell which half is the drawing and which half is the photograph?!
