Artist Statement (what Victor5033 said about their artwork)
In artwork, I made a dolphin in the ocean with tints and shades surrounding it. I made it by mixing lighter and darker colors. I made it because it looks like the sun is reflecting on the dolphin
About this School Project (Tints and Shades Painting)
Sixth grade artists studied how to create tints and shades using only one color - and practiced creating monochromatic value scales. Using what they had learned and practiced, artists applied their skills to a painting of their choice. A value scale was required to be included, but how they chose to include it was completely up to their discretion. I love how different each of the creations turned out!
