About this School Project (Kdg: Kindergarten Draws a Monster)
In art class we read the book, Jeremy Draws a Monster by Peter McCarty. In the story, Jeremy draws a monster who comes to life and is very grumpy and angry. We talked about how the monster looked and each student drew their own monster showing an expression.
We learned about organic shapes and created one by tracing the outline of a piece of yarn to make the shape of our monster's body. We used crayons and watercolors to add color!
