About this School Project (Echo Line Flowers)
Have students draw a flower with a pencil first. Instruct not to draw too close to the edge of the paper. They will need to have room for the echo lines.
Next, have them draw lines that “echo” the shape of the flower. Make these lines about a “pencil width” apart.
Next, outline with a sharpie.
Chose either warm or cool colors to use for the flower. Color an alternating pattern of either warm or cool colors. Have them fill in all the white spaces! Everything must be colored, even the background.
