About this School Project (1st Grade Mexican Tin Art (Hojalata))
On day one we talked about Mexico and kinds of artwork done there. We were inspired by images of the sun, moon, and sun/moon together! Students learned how to do metal tooling and pressed their design into the aluminum. On day two of the project, students added paper, crayon, and metallic paint detail.
