About this School Project (1st Grade's A Day in the Life....(Mrs. Jackson))
We were covering the objectives, We will understand how to compare/contrast images by characteristics of form and subject matter, we will know how to use safe and proper procedures for using materials/media and we will compare images that represent the same subject and describes how they are alike and different. We began reviewing different subject matter like, landscape, still life, portrait, sculpture and non-objective. Next, with a partner we wroked to categorize art cards by subject matter. We then red the book "The Red Knit Cap Girl" by Naoko Stoop. Finally we created an artwork of our favorite environment.
