About this School Project (Monet Gardens)
Kindergarten were introduced to the artist Claude Monet. They looked at his painting "Impression Sunrise" and talked about how the picture was kind of fuzzy and we only got the impression that there was a boat and a person and buildings. They also looked at paintings of his gardens.
Their project was started by using sponges with green and yellow paint to paint the grass and trees. Next they used white and blue paint with brushes to paint the sky. Then they added a fence with white oil pastels and dots for impressions of flowers also with oil pastels.
