About this School Project (4th The Mayflower Voyage)
Students watched a neat short video about the Mayflower, learning lots of interesting facts about the voyage from England to America. The students created their own seascape art depicting their own version of the Mayflower voyage on the seas. We used paint and special scrapers to create the look of waves in the ocean and wind in the sky. The students then drew their own ship inspired by the Mayflower and added details with colored pencil and sharpie. The ship was then cut out and assembled on the painted seascape paper.
