About this School Project (Not So Woven Weavings)
Students created a faux painting based on the woven blankets of the Navajo Native American Indians. Students learned that a special tribute to animals like cows and buffalo were celebrated through painting their skulls. It was a way to honor and thank them for all of the things the animals provided for them.
