About this School Project (4th Grade Watercolor Ornaments)
The fourth grade used their knowledge of color blending to create this beautiful holiday project. They began by using oil pastels to make a close-up view of branches on a Christmas tree. They used shades of green and white to create the look of real branches. To paint the ornaments, they used analogous colors; colors that are next to each other on the color wheel. When two analogous colors are used, they blend to make a third color.
