About this School Project (Color Mice)
Kindergarten listened to the story Mouse Paint by Ellen Stoll Walsh. They learned about Primary colors and Secondary Colors.
First they drew around a stencil to get 6 mouse shapes. They painted 3 with the primary colors. Then they mixed red and blue to get purple, blue and yellow to get green and red and yellow to get orange. They painted the other 3 mice with these secondary colors.
When they had dried they cut them out and glued them to a white paper. They used a sharpie to add details of eyes, ears, whiskers etc
