About this School Project (All - The Dot)
Hayshire learners read "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds. The story is about a girl named Vashti who is afraid that she just can't draw. Her art teacher encourages her to, "Just make a mark and see where it takes you." Vashti starts with a tiny dot, and as she gains confidence she creates a whole gallery of beautiful dot paintings. Inspired by Vashti's story, Hayshire artists created their very own unique and beautiful dot artwork.
