About this School Project (3- Shoe Observation Drawing)
The students learned the differences between an observation drawing and one made using their imagination. We talked about how artists draw shoes as a reflection of the owner's personality. We then took off our shoe and began drawing it. We completed the drawing by breaking it down into 2 parts. First we built the general shape of our shoe using geometric shapes. Then we made our shoe our own by adding in organic shapes that are unique to our shoe. We focused on not making our drawings perfect, but to make it so that our personality shoes through our artworks!
