About this School Project (Shape Animals)
Kindergarten artists first started this project by painting the landscape. We made a foreground, background, and sky. The next art class, students drew animals by combining simples shapes. We then used collage (cut paper) to cut out the shapes and glue together to make the animals. The animals were glued to the landscape painting. Students were encourage to add more to their artwork by using construction paper crayons and/or cut paper. I included a picture of the drawing because its fun to see the animals come to life from the drawing to the final artwork!
