About this School Project (Self-Portraits in Chalk Pastel)
Third grade students drew their self-portraits from observation. They learned about the correct placement of each facial feature. They learned how to add hair, necks, and shirts. They blended chalk pastels to add the color to their self-portraits that matched their skin, eyes, hair color, and shirt color.
