About this School Project (Ancient Greek Pottery)
Students learned that the production of pottery dates back many centuries ago. Much of what we know about Ancient Greece was painted on the sides of these vessels. There were many styles of pottery, they ranged in size from six inches to six feet. The first pots were made using the hand building technique known as coiling, and later the pottery wheel was invented which made it easier to make them.
