About this School Project (Hopi Kachinas)
Kachina dolls were made for Hopi children in the Southwest by grown ups to help teach them the stories about their culture. Kachina dolls were carved from the root of the cottonwood tree and were then painted with paint that was made up of ground up clay.
 
 
20% of every purchase is donated to the school arts program at Twin Hickory Elementary School
