About this School Project (5th-Kuna Indian Molas)
The Fifth Graders learned about the Kuna Indian tribe in Panama and their traditional molas. After viewing some examples of the animals used in their fabric pieces, students chose one animal to draw for their own use. We simulated "stitching" with cut colored papers.
