In art class we were working on making puppets we were looking at the relationships between art and the culture of the community. I really liked making this puppet because it was really fun and creative.
About this School Project (G5 Puppet Making - Functions of Art)
After an introduction to the role which puppets play in various cultures , learners research kinds of puppets that are found. They share information on methods of making puppets and explore and collect various materials with which to make puppets. They will plan an appropriate project and present their findings regarding the materials they chose to work with. Their final product will be placed in their online portfolio to share their work with the community after presenting their product through story-telling.
