About this School Project (Autumn Leaves)
Students learned about the four seasons. They also learned why leaves change colors during the fall. Students were also introduced to symmetry and how to use it to make a maple leaf. The leaves were collaged with tissue paper. The book Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf by Lois Ehlert was also read to wrap up the project.
