This art work is a Lego self portrait of me! I really liked how this artwork tuned out, I love the scarf on me and the colors that I did
About this School Project (Lego Selfie)
This art lesson has been used by so many art teachers, I don't know where it originated! Students talked about Legos and how Legos creations could be considered art. They used the layout of a Lego to help transform themselves into a Lego person. Because of the simple layout, students had to brainstorm about their traits and characteristics and what to include on their Lego Selfie to make it look like them. Some students even got to creating a background!
