About this School Project (Boa Bats)
Students heard the story "Five Little Bats Flying in the Night"by Steve Metzger and illustrated by Laura Bryant. They then learned how to draw symmetrical bat wings by folding black paper. Once the wings were drawn and cut out, a piece of feather boa was hot glued to the center. Eye stickers completed the fluffy creatures. A paper tube was glued to the back for fingers, to use as a puppet to make the wings flap as the bats flew about the room. Please comment on these fluffy creatures of the night.
