Artist Statement (what Ellie3258 said about their artwork)
I did this picture of the view from my space ship. I outlined my picture with oil pastel and filled it in with water color. I used a sponge to make to back round. I started by painting my whole back round a light tint of blue. Next, I used an x-stroke to to paint a light layer of purple over the top. Then I used a sponge of black paint to create texture on my back-round. This picture took me two weeks to complete, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did creating it.
