About this School Project (Magazine Collage Portraits)
Students learned about the artist Frida Kahlo, and her interest in creating portraits and self protraits. Students were encouraged to look for interesting textures in magazine photographs as they pieced together unique portraits. Some of the portraits have added details, such as a pet on a shoulder.
