About this School Project (4th-Picasso-Inspired Quilt)
The Fourth Graders learned about cubism, and were presented with 3 paintings of Picasso's: Girl Before the Mirror, Boy in a Sailor Suit, and The Three Musicians. They were asked to use one of the three to inspire their own artwork, using people, outfits, and instruments/cherished objects from their own lives. After filling them with color and pattern, we wove raffia around each "quilt" square.
