About this School Project (1st-Warm/Cool Weavings)
The First Graders learned the difference between warm and cool colors on the color wheels, as well as what a neutral color scheme means. Each student chose one scheme to weave with (using painted paper strips). We alternated the "over-under" technique from one strip to the next, to make sure our strips "locked" the paper together. We then chose a new scheme to create a border on our background paper.
