About this School Project (Mouse Paint)
In this primary lesson, we read a story called "Mouse Paint," by Ellen Stoll Walsh. During, the class identified their primary and secondary colors. Also, they learned how to mix certain colors to create new ones. During the studio portion, they used various templates to help draw mice, cats, and paws. They painted the mice with Q-tips and colored the cat with crayons.
Learning Targets:
1.) I can identify my primary and secondary colors.
2.) I can use templates to help create art.
3.) I can create mix-media art.
