About this School Project (Cat Printmaking)
Students learned about Laurel Burch and her art. They learned that she had a disease that made her bones very brittle but still managed to make art that made people feel happy. Students chose a color group and colored a coffee filter. Then sprayed it with water on top of a white paper. Then they made a cat on styrofoam and put paint on it to make a stamp and stamped the cat on top of the background.
