I learned how to make a dreidle and we got to paint it. We even learned a song about it.
About this School Project (Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel)
To learn about the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah, students heard about this tradition and a story, "The Magic Dreidels" by Eric Kimmel. They also learned the catchy Dreidel Song from U-Tube, and sang it repeatedly while making their own dreidel from egg carton sections. Ask them to share it with you then make a comment on their dreidel creations.
