Artist Statement (what Lucas3405 said about their artwork)
I learned that the artist liked to draw flowers. The one we did was a sunflower. I think it was a fun project because we used a lot of different colors, and I liked it a lot.
About this School Project (Vincent van Gogh Analgous Sunflowers)
Students were introduced to Vincent van Gogh and his series "Sunflowers." We talked about analogous color scheme. The students used an analogous color scheme to create their sunflower. Students learned how to create symmetrical leaves by folding their paper and drawing half of the leaf and cutting it out. Please leave comments for the students' Sunflowers.
