About this School Project (1st: Vertical Color Wheel Collage)
First grade artists dove into the color wheel for this project! They are working on recognizing and understanding the color wheel and how primary colors mix to create secondary colors. The artists painted a vertical color wheel, then drew a variety of horizontal lines which they cut to create their collages. Finally, they were introduced to the idea of positive space and negative space and created black "lines" when they put together their collages.
