About this School Project (Summer Landscapes)
3rd-4th grade students used the crayon-resist method of watercolor painting to create a landscape of a place they went this summer, or a place they wish they could go.
5th-6th grade students first decorated paper using many printing and painting techniques, then ripped, cut, and glued layers of papers to create landscape collages.
Both age groups learned how to create depth in a landscape by layering it into foreground, middle ground, and background.
