I really, really, really, really liked how we stuffed it and designed it with our own materials. It was awesome fun
About this School Project (Snowballs Snowman)
After being read the book, "Snowballs," written and illustrated by Lois Ehlert, students followed directions to make half a snowman on folded paper. They cut these out to be the pattern for their felt cut-outs. Each student received a brown paper lunch size bag to save various items and materials in to use to make and decorate their snowman at a later art class. These two snowman pieces were hot glued together with openings at the arm sections. Students stuffed their snowmen with polyfill and their arms were hot glued in to close up the snowman. The third week moms helped hot glue their other saved items on to create their snowman's faces and whatever else the artists wanted to decorate them . Please leave comments for these little artists' creations.
