About this School Project (Egyptian Portrait-221)
Students learned the rules Egyptian artists followed when painting a portrait including: painting the face from the profile view, eyes facing forward, wearing a black wig, and painting males with darker skin and females with lighter skin. They also covered their portrait with patterns of jewels.
These are the student's actual profiles, although with all of the Egyptian changes, they might no longer look like themselves!
