I learned that many people make paintings about important things to them. I made mine about me riding the fastest roller coaster in the world.
About this School Project (Special Life Events)
Carmen Lomas Garza was the featured American artist for the fifth grade Hispanic Awareness Month project. After looking at a power point of paintings of her childhood memories of events in her Hispanic culture. Students then drew and colored memories of special events in their lives.
