About this School Project (Doin' the A-B Wave Op Art)
Students looked at examples of Op Art and learned about this style of art. To make their own version of Op Art, they made four dots on each of the two long edges of the paper. Curved, wavy, vertical lines were drawn to connect opposite dots. Four dots were made on the left short edge of the paper and A-B, alternating "smile" and "frown" curved lines were made horizontally across the paper , starting at each of the four dots. Vertical spaces were colored with an A-B, alternating pattern. Black x's created patterns in each colored space. Please remember to comment on the students' artworks.
