About this School Project (1st Grade - Monkey-ing Around with Henri Rosseau)
1st graders learned about artist Henri Rosseau. He was a french artist who loved to paint jungles and have fun with the viewers by hiding animals in the foliage of the jungle. We created our own jungles as a class on the smart board, and then created our monkeys. We drew them right side up, and flipped them over to show our monkeys hanging from the tree by their tails!
